Stretching out over 153 miles, the Black Sea coast is the main tourist attraction of Romania. Soft sandy beaches, soothing cool wind and gently sloping waves can take away your stress in a matter of minutes. The water of Black Sea has only 17% salt as compared to other inland seas but unlike the big oceans and sea, the Black sea is void of currents and tides. During summer, the water temperatures can range between 16 to 200C in June, and between 20 to 280C in July and August but the preferred season is in September when the water temperature is around 200C. The natural sandy beaches are 400 to 500 m wide at Mangalia and Techirghiol, and 50 to 200 m wide in other places. The Black Sea is home to Dolphins and is accessible by car from Bucharest.
